I saw your posts on Jesus.com.au and am a bit worried that you don't understand the Sabbat and Esbats of Wicca weren't stolen by Christianity. Wicca was founded in the late 1940's early 1950's by Gerald Gardner. Christianity has been around much much longer. Now I'm not saying that Wiccans stole the holiday's from Christians either. Actually all holidays were borrowed from other pagan traditions that go back since the dawn of time. Many of the holidays celebrated now are old farmers holidays to mark the times for good crops to be seeded, grown and harvested. The Sabbats are holidays to worships the gods for yielding good crops for the survival of man.
I have only written in reply to your responce in the other site because I do not want you to be scoffed at from Christians and proven wrong in your information, I would much rather try and explain it to you here and now then have them chew you out and make you look like a fool. I did try to email you this so it would be more private but I couldn't get your email from the site.

Deme, i was talking about REALLY olden wicca.... like, medievil times wicca........ i admit, Christianity has been around for a long time, but it evolved from REALLY olden wiccan believes.....
